DLM Chocolate Bars
For an extraordinary chocolate experience, try these made especially for us by our friend Ghyslain. For both the Guayaquil and Maracaïbo bars, Ghyslain utilizes high-grade Criollo cacao. Our Guayaquil bar is 64% dark chocolate made with cacao from Guayaquil, a variety from Ecuador known for its intensity of flavor. Our Maracaïbo milk chocolate bar is composed of 38% Maracaïbo, another Criollo, this time from Venezuela.

DLM Dipping Oils and Seasonings
For easy fall entertaining, check out our Dorothy Lane Market Dipping Oils and Seasonings. Our dipping oils go great with DLM Artisan Breads, especially our baguette, sourdough, and ciabatta bread. Whisk in a little vinegar or lemon juice and you have a nice vinaigrette for salads. Our new seasonings make it easy to make all kinds of party dips…just follow the suggestions on the label. They are also excellent as dry rubs on roasts and steaks, and make a great addition to hamburgers.

We are especially proud of our own. We give you a bunch of great ways to make your morning toast exciting. With flavors like Michigan Red Tart Cherry Preserve you can always find exciting flavor in this section of the store. Produced for us by our friends at Cincinnati’s Clearbrook Farms, these are some of the cleanest, fruitiest, most delicious preserves you will ever taste. Clearbrook uses premium fruit from around the country, and minimally processes them into our irresistible preserves. The rich, clean fruit flavor shines through. Our line has also been awarded the prestigious mark of kosher supervision. Pick up a jar (or several) today. DLM Salt and Pepper Grinders
Dorothy Lane Market offers a variety of fine sea salts imported from Europe. The problem with most of the containers is that you have to sprinkle the salt with your fingers or a spoon. We've come to the rescue with our new salt and pepper grinders! They come filled with sea salt from the waters of the Pacific Ocean, or with the famed peppercorns from Tellicherry, India, which are larger, blacker, and more fragrant than other peppercorns. Once they are empty, fill them with your favorite sea salt, such as Maldon from England or Esprit du Sel from France.

DLM San Marzano Whole Peeled Tomatoes D.O.P.
We believe this is the finest canned tomato you will ever have. It is favored by chefs and serious cooks the world over. The true Italian San Marzano tomato is grown in the volcanic soil near Mount Vesuvius in the Campania region of Italy. Our Honestly Better® tomatoes carry the "D.O.P." designation, an Italian acronym which, loosely translated, means "name of origin protected." In other words, the integrity of this special product is protected by Italian law. Use it as you would any canned tomato...for homemade pizza and pasta sauces, stews, chili, and so on.

Vera Jane’s Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
DLM's very own olive oil is named after our Chairman of the Board, Vera Mayne. This Tuscan oil is an all-natural product harvested by hand, and the taste varies slightly from year to year. The oil is buttery with a note of wheat grass and the classic Tuscan peppery finish. Cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil such as Vera Jane’s is so good for you, and adds flavor to so many things, that most of us around here enjoy it in some form every day. Beyond the more obvious dressing up fresh greens and making vinaigrettes, use it for drizzling on pizza, pasta, and grilled meats. Just a teaspoon makes an otherwise mediocre soup come alive. Dip crusty bread, such as our Paesano or Pane Toscano in it after adding a pinch of sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Drizzle it over steamed veggies.
