DLM prides itself on bringing not only the best products from around the world, but also from our own backyard, too. Sometimes the word “local” is so overused and is applied so broadly, that it’s lost its meaning. For us, we keep the definition simple: Can we get there in a morning drive? Over the years, we’ve forged valuable relationships and genuine friendships with local farmers and vendors who take the same level of pride in their craft as we do. We can say with confidence that the best of local is here!
Navigate our stores with our Gluten-Free Shopping Guide on hand. We update this list annually and list products that can be found at all DLM locations, organizing them by category. From gluten-free pastas and ethnic foods to gluten-free cookies, desserts, and more, we hope that this will be a helpful resource. You can also look for gluten free signage identifying products as you shop.
View Gluten-Free Shopping GuideWe coordinate special delivery of featured holiday gluten-free items from a few local bakeries.
Through Love Cakes by Dorothy Lane Market, you can order a gluten-free cake for your special occasion.
We feature gluten-free signage not just on food items, but on personal care items as well, like skin care, lotions, vitamins, and sunscreen.
When you order at our Sandwich Station or Jack’s Grill, we always have gluten-free bun options. Just ask!
Our Salad Bar includes a selection of gluten-free salad dressings.
At our Naples-Style Pizza Station (DLM Washington Square and Springboro only), just ask for a gluten-free crust option. Or, if making your own pizza just take some gluten-free pizza dough home.
In an effort to support your vegan lifestyle, we’ve also pulled together a shopping guide of vegan-friendly products throughout our stores. In addition, look for our sign calling out vegan items as you shop, whether you are seeking unique ethnic sauces and baking ingredients or milk/egg/butter alternatives. We also have a wide selection of Made Right Here Deli & Gourmet Takeaway items that happen to be vegan-friendly.

35 Reasons We Love Local
DLM Partners With 80 Acres for DLM Salad Blends
Dale Friesen’s grandparents were among the German Mennonites who brought with them the seeds of turkey red wheat when they fled Russia to the U.S. many years ago. Dale grew up in Nebraska where Turkey Red Wheat is prominently grown. He’s overcome with emotion to see the crop of his ancestors growing in abundance on Ohio soil thanks to a local farming partnership together with Danny Jones and Edward Hill. The wheat is milled farmside and brought to us here at DLM to bake bread from.
