It was an August day in 1948 when Dorothy Lane Market first opened its doors as a small grocer at the corner of Dorothy Lane and Far Hills. Founder Calvin D. Mayne and his wife Vera Jane were committed to providing fresh food to their community and did just that for many years. Today, the Mayne family continues to locally own and operate Dorothy Lane Market with great passion toward providing quality food for your family. This month, as we celebrate our 78th anniversary, we are also celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of our newest location in Mason, Ohio. We are so grateful to the DLM Family and customers alike who are proud to call us their local Dorothy Lane Market. What started as a humble fruit stand has grown into three well-known, family-owned and operated gourmet supermarkets with a continued focus on offering great food, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our local community.
In honor of this anniversary month, we’ll be celebrating with a three-day sale and more fun August 14-16, featuring exclusive Club DLM member pricing on select signature favorites! Plus, when you are here on Saturday, step right up and enjoy our featured cookout of Smoked Right Here pulled pork sandwiches with the option of adding roasted Hatch Chiles to them. In addition, we plan to have some Kids’ Club fun! Then, on Sunday, we’ll continue the celebration by bringing back the DLM Classic Car Show during which you can peruse exceptional vehicles and vote for your favorite. Interested in participating?
