The Triangle Park movie is written and directed by Dayton resident Allen Farst, who sought to bring a piece history to life with this film that delves into the story behind the first professional game of football played at Triangle Park in Dayton, Ohio. The game took place in October of 1920, just years after Dayton had recovered from a historic flood and in the midst of prohibition. Farst interviewed the direct descendants of the 23 players, historians on the topic, and he worked closely with the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, to bring this story to life, taking the Triangle Park movie crew to several Dayton landmarks while filming. As the movie rolls out at select theaters and streaming platforms this fall, we are proud to carry a team of special edition products that commemorate this remarkable Dayton story, including our Dorothy Lane Market Triangle Park Mixed Nut Trio and special packaging of a Killer Brownie® Original Single.
