A new twist on the traditional old fashioned cocktail, this mixer is made using gentian root and cinchona bark paired with burnt sugar, spices and some orange peel. Aged in Bourbon barrels to bring harmony to the flavors, add 1 part mixer to 4 parts rye in a glass with extra-large ice cubes. Garnish with an orange peel to bring out the notes of orange in the mixer.
