Garlicky Green Beans

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb haricots verts or fresh green beans
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • ½ cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • A squeeze or two of fresh lemon

INSTRUCTIONS

Steam or blanch greens beans until al dente. Rinse with cold water; drain well.

In a large sauté pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté about 2 to 3 minutes or until it's just turning golden brown. Stir in parsley and season well with salt and pepper. Add green beans and cook through, coating with the garlicky butter.

Serve with a squeeze or two of fresh lemon juice.
