small whole strawberries, washed and tops removed
INSTRUCTIONS
1
Trim bread so the edges are straight.
2
With electric beaters, whip the cream cheese and the powdered sugar. Gently add the whipped cream until combined.
3
Spread a thick layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of the bread. Make two rows of four whole strawberries to fit on bread (a total of eight per sandwich). Spread additional cream cheese blend on top and gently press so cream fills spaces in between berries. Top with second bread slice. Repeat process making another sandwich.
4
Wrap with plastic wrap, pressing down lightly to help cream fill any additional holes in center. Chill for at least 15 minutes before slicing into batons.
