INGREDIENTS

  • (1) 4-5 lb New York Strip Roast
  • Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt & pepper or DLM Grilling & Seasoning Rub

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Rub roast with Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and season generously with salt and pepper or DLM Grilling & Seasoning Rub.

Place roast in a roasting pan and cook in the oven until an internal temperature of 125°F for rare; 130°F for medium-rare; 140°F for medium. Figure about one hour for a 4- to 5-lb roast (15 minutes per pound).

Allow the roast to rest 15 minutes before slicing.
