INGREDIENTS

  • (1) 7-lb USDA Prime DLM Natural Beef Standing Rib Roast
  • Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt & pepper or DLM Grilling Seasoning Rub

INSTRUCTIONS

Rub roast with Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive OIl and generously season with salt and pepper or DLM Grilling & Seasoning Rub.

Preheat oven to 500°F. Place roast in a roasting pan and put in the oven for 30 minutes.

Reduce heat to 325°F and roast 30 minutes longer before checking internal temperature. Check every 20 minutes until desired temperature is reached: 125°F for rare; 130°F for medium-rare; 140°F for medium.

Allow the roast to rest 15 minutes before slicing.
