INGREDIENTS

Maple Dressing

  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup DLM Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp DLM 100% Pure Maple Syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Salad

  • 6 cups your favorite salad greens
  • 1 ripe pear, sliced
  • Maple Dressing
  • 4 oz Rogue River Blue cheese
  • Handful DLM Caramelized Pecans

INSTRUCTIONS

Make the dressing by combining the shallot, Dijon mustard, and balsamic in a bowl. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil, whisking to emulsify. Season to taste with the maple syrup, salt, and pepper.

In a bowl, toss the greens and pear slices with the dressing to taste. Mound on salad plates. Garnish with the cheese and nuts.
