Wasabi Butter

Wicked good over a grilled or roasted DLM Natural Beef Steak. Also great for adding a little kick to your next batch of mashed potatoes. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 (1.52-oz) tube wasabi paste
  • 2 Tbsp chives, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp white pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

In a bowl, blend ingredients together until completely incorporated.

To wrap and roll, place a large piece of plastic wrap on counter top. Spoon about ¼ of the mixture into center. Fold ½ of the wrap over butter and shape into an even log, about 2 inches in diameter. Twist ends and finish rolling into a compact log. Finish the rest of the butter making 4 small, compact logs. Chill. Freezes beautifully.
