Don’t just dream of this luscious crisp, flaky, creamy dessert—learn to make it! When done correctly, cannoli can be transcendent. This pure dessert bliss is worth the effort of making from scratch. You’ll learn to make Cannoli Dough, how to roll and fry it to a crispy texture, and fill it with an irresistible Sweet Ricotta Filing. This is an important dessert to get just right and Mary Cooney will walk you through the process. We’ll also make another Italian favorite, Tiramisù, a creamy dessert of espresso-soaked ladyfingers surrounded by Italian Pastry Cream all topped with shaved chocolate. You'll be a star baker with these confections in your repertoire. Light snacks will be served.

Mary Cooney is a first-generation Italian-American who has a passion for teaching that is hard to equal. She loves to share her knowledge of authentic Italian dishes as well as baking pies and desserts. She has been on staff at the SOC since 2005.
